Evaluative Conclusion of my Blog

This blog has been such an awesome assignment because I was able to put a lot of my personal feelings and opinions in writing. Not very many writing assignments in my life allowed me to insert myself so openly in the work. I was me and people expect that on a blog. I was forced to think about what I would want other people to know and how they would respond and react to what I wrote. I was even tempted to link my blog posts to my Facebook but decided I am going to do that once I delete the homework related posts after the class is over. Some of my posts were longer but I couldn’t stop myself because I loved writing about those topics so much.

I journal everyday but I think a blog is different because it’s intended for a public audience right here and now. The posts are also more focused on certain topics while journal entries can be a little more scrambled and unorganized. I found myself to really enjoy this form of expression.

It was challenging sometimes when I had to think of what I should write about. I would have to think about what topics would have enough substance and what I really had knowledge or an opinion about. It really got me to think before I wrote, which is a habit I want to continue to develop.

Overall, this assignment to create a blog was very unique and enjoyable. Without this, I would not have been able to grow this way as a writer.
